Leading Indian automobile company Mahindra & Mahindra has launched their all new sports utility vehicle (SUV) Quanto. The SUV will be available at all Mahindra dealership in 4 distinct variants as C2, C4, C6 and C8 and 6 attractive color options. The price starts from Rs 5.82 lac for the base C2 model (ex-showroom Thane), to Rs 7.36 lac (ex showroom Thane) for the fully loaded top end C8 model
Less than 4 meter long car is the smallest SUV car in Mahindra’s portfolio and by launching this M&M is trying to attract those customers who are trying to purchase a diesel hatchback or an entry level sedan. Some special features have been added in Quanto.
Mahindra is aiming to sell 200 units monthly initially, M&M president for automotive & farm equipment sectors Pawan Goenka said “The Company will start exporting the Quanto to neigbhouring.”.Quanto will have to face rivalry with recently launched Duster by Renault in the compact SUV segment.

Engine Specs: All the four variants of Quanto have been powered by a 1.5 litre mCR100 diesel engine giving and a massive 240nm of torque. The mCR100 engine is claimed to have India’s first twin stage turbo technology for maximum power A sub 4m length and a turning radius of 5.4m, is innovatively packaged with a 5:2 seating arrangement.
Mileage: Quanto uses ARAI certified micro hybrid technique of a better mileage. It is claimed to deliver a mileage of 17.2 KMPL.
Interior: All the variants of Quanto are packaged with 7 seat arrangements (2:3:2).Although it’s a smalls SUV but Enough space is available inside the SUV. A two tone granite themed dashboard gives a decent interior look. 5 bottle holders, magazine pockets and under-seat storage have been added for a long journy..
Safety: The new Quanto comes with Dual Airbags, ABS with EBD, Intellipark Reverse Assist, fog lamps, high speed warning system and Engine Immobilizer to add a high level security of the driver as well as the passengers. An stylish rear stepny is also there to support along drive.
