Sukumarudu Movie Review

14:25
Casting: Aadhi, Krishna, Nisha Agarwal, Sharada, Thanikella Bharani, Rao Ramesh, Brahmanandam, Raghu Babu, Gollapoodi and others.

It Rating: 1.5/5.0

Story

Sukumar (Aadi) who becomes world's best CEO does not value human relations and is only after money. Sukumar who refuses to see his grand mother Vardhanamma (Sharada) on request of his father, changes his mind once he comes to know that he is the heir of his ancestral property worth Rs 150 crs in India. He wishes to sell that off for his company.

Whether he will be able to make his grand mother sign the property in his name or his uncle (Rao Ramesh) and daughter Sankari (Nisha Agarwal) thwart his evil designs should be found out on screen.

Performance

Aadi did his dances and stunts quite well but he should get his emotions right. Nisha Agarwal looks good in songs while other heroine Bhavna Agarwal did not get scope for performance.

Super Star Krishna and Urvasi Sharada showed their acting prowess. Others like Rao Ramesh played their roles well.

Technical

Cinematography is just average and editing is extremely bad. Anup Rubens music is ok but background score is loud and jarring to hear. Even production values are pretty ordinary. Ashok totally failed in direction department.

Plus Ponts

Aadi's dances, stunts

Krishna, Sarada's performances

Rao Ramesh acting

Minus Points

Ashok's screen play, direction

Length of the film

Cinematography

Poor comedy

Lack of romantic scenes

Analysis

Ashok supplied the film with his screenplay and direction. The film is a replica of Greeku Veerudu. There is no continuity in the storyline and suddenly he goes deep into sentiment and at other times too much into mass fights. Length of the film tests the patience of the viewers. There are many illogical scenes in the film.

Comedy track was not written properly and even the presence of M S.Narayana, Raghu Babu and Jaya Prakash Reddy did not work any wonders. Romantic track is far and in between and is not natural. Songs placement is also not good.
