Iddarammayilatho Audio Review

12:41

Allu Arjun’s (Bunny)‘Iddarammayilatho’ Movie is release next month May 2013. The Movie audio album has been released on april 28 2013 at a star studded event in Hyderabad. Devi Sri Prasad has composed the movie’s music and expectations are high over the combo of Allu Arjun and DSP.

1. Song: Run Run
Singers: Apache Indian, Sharmila
Lyrics : Ramajogayya Sastry
Apache Indian is making a return to Telugu music after a very long time. If you don’t know who Apache Indian is, look up Prabhu Deva’s ‘No Problem’. The song ‘Run Run’ from ‘Iddarammayilatho’ is a foot tapping composition from Devi Sri Prasad. Apache Indian has done a superb job with the vocals. Ramajogayya Sastry’s lyrics are interesting. Overall, this is a very addictive reggae song. Expect some terrific steps from Allu Arjun for this song.

2.Song: Shankarabharanamtho
Singers: Mano, Suchitra Suresan, Ranina Reddy
Lyrics: Devi Sri Prasad
‘Shankarabharanamtho’ is a humorous number that has been picturized on Brahmanandam. The song has been rendered well by Mano and Devi Sri penned the humorous lyrics. Music is a fusion of Indian and Western styles. The song has been conceptualised for humour, so expect plenty of it in the visuals department.

3.Song: Violin Song
Singers: David Simon, Anitha
Lyrics: Viswa, David Simon
Even before the audio album came out, the seductive violin note of this song became quite popular. The song itself is a cool romantic duet that is very easy to appreciate. David Simon and Anitha have done a good job with the vocals. Anitha’s voice has a very soothing quality and that enhances the character of this song. DSP’s music is contemporary and melodious. Overall, this is a superb song.

4.Song: Ganapathi Bappa
Singers: Suraj Jagan
Lyrics: Bhaskara Bhatla
‘Ganapathi Bappa’ will most probably be the introduction song of the hero in the film. Suraj Jagan has taken care of the vocals and he has done an OK job. Bhasakara Bhatla’s lyrics are neat. DSP’s music is pretty routine here and there is nothing noteworthy. Overall, ‘Ganapathi Bappa’ is a very routine and average ‘hero introduction’ song.

5.Song: Top Lechipoddi
Singers: Sagar, Geetha Madhuri
Lyrics: Bhaskara Bhatla
‘Top Lechipoddi’ is a rustic duet that is aimed at the front benchers. The mass masala lyrics and earthy beats will strike a chord with many people. Sagar and Geetha Madhuri have rendered this number with good energy. Bhaskara Bhatla’s lyrics are ok. Expect some very interesting dances from Bunny for this song. If you love mass numbers, you will like this song. Otherwise, it will seem like just an ok effort.

Verdict :
Devi Sri Prasad (DSP) has comed up with some very interesting numbers for ‘Iddarammayilatho’. The best song of the album is undoubtedly ‘Run Run’. This song takes the cake with foot tapping music and an energetic performance from Apache Indian. Apart from this track, the ‘Violin Song’ and ‘Shankarabharanmtho’ will prove to be very popular. C center crowds will like ‘Top Lechipoddi’. Allu Arjun is a superb dancer, so I am waiting to see the magic he must have unleashed for ‘Run Run’.
