The decision to release the Son of Sardar on the holiday week of Diwali has worked brilliantly for Ajay Devgn and his Son of Sardar team. There was so much talk happening before the release of Son of Sardar that Son of Sardar will be a flop because it was releasing with Late Yash Chopra’s multi starer movie Jab Tak Hai Jaan. But Son of Sardar proved so many trade pandit wrong and collected huge collection in Indian and overseas Box office.Ajay Devgn, Sonakshi Sinha and Sanjay Dutt collected nearly 110.2 crores in the Indian box office in 20 days. The collection of Son of Sardar has dropped considerably due to Amir’s Talaash. In her final few days, Son of Sardar is only collecting 1 – 1.5 crores and is expected to finish below 120 crores mark.

Son Of Sardar Total Collection Reports
On the third week, Son of Sardar consistently collected in between 1.5 to 2.5 crores. On third week, SOS’s collection from Monday to Saturday is – 2.1 on Monday, 1.7 crores on Tuesday, 2.1 crores on Wednesday and 1.5 crores on Thursday, 1.8 crores on Friday and 2 crores on Saturday. The collection on the 20th Day (Third Sunday) will be below 2 crores. So, total third week collection of SOS is 13.2 crores. Overall, a good week SOS because Amir Talaash has also released on this Friday.
The first 20 days collection (110.5 crores) has proved every trade expert wrong who were doubting about Son of Sardar’s performance at box office. Movie got off to a good start on the first day and collected 12 crores on the opening day. Then on the first weekend Son of Sardar made 75 crores. It is a record first week collection for any Ajay Devgn movie. In the second week, we saw some drop in collection. Movie collected only 22 crores. In the third week, SOS collected 13.5 crores and took his total over 100 crores.So, after the end of third week, the total collection of SOS is 110.2 crores.
Ajay Devgn, Sonakshi Sharma and Sajay Dutt starer Son of Sardar released on this Diwali with Sahrukh’s Jab Tak Hai Jaan. Both the movie made very good collection. So, this Diwali, in the fight of box office, both Jab Tak Hai Jaan and Son of Sardar are declared winner.
