Amitabh Bachchan released a biographical book on Mohammad Rafi on 25 November. The book Mere Abba – A Memoir is written by Yasmin Rafi, daughter of Mohammad Rafi. Amitabh Bachchan is releasing its Hindi version titled Hamare Abba – Kuchchh Yadein
Amitabh Bachchan has said that the occasion means a lot to him “”Tonight in a while going to release the book on one of our greatest playback singers Mohd Rafi, written by his daughter … a rare privilege and honor for me … he was simply great … we do not make singers like him anymore ”
Yasmin Rafi has mentioned in the book about the simple and God fearing nature of Mohammad Rafi, his dedication for music, his humble personality and his love for children.
